Tixel uses Thermo-Mechanical Action (TMA) to rejuvenate the skin. A medical grade titanium tip is heated to around 400°C and briefly touches the skin for just milliseconds, transferring controlled thermal energy into the upper layers.

This creates tiny microthermal zones and microscopic channels, triggering the skin's natural regenerative processes.

These studies demonstrate improvements in wrinkles, pigmentation, skin texture and overall skin quality following Tixel treatments.

Tammy Lloyd and Mariza Case first met in their twenties while teaching skin care together at a private college in Cape Town. From the beginning they shared a passion for skin health and for helping others feel confident in their own skin.

Over the last 30 years their careers have taken them in different directions, each building extensive experience, knowledge and perspective within the aesthetics industry. Although their paths diverged, the connection and shared vision for skin care never disappeared.

Years later, the timing was finally right for them to work together again. Tamar Advanced Aesthetics was born from that reunion - a place where their combined experience, both nationally and internationally, could be brought together for the benefit of their clients.
